The "Quarter-Horse-Gestüt-Handorf"
Mission Statement
The American Quarter Horse is best-known today as a ranch horse or for multible Western-equitation disziplines like Reining, cutting or Pleasure. It is also an all-around family horse.

Breeding on our Stud-farm
On our farm which is based in Handorf, a village near Peine, we're breeding Quarter Horses of the Foundation line, also known as Stock Horses.
The stock type is a short, compact and well muscled atletic Horse. This horse has a maximum speed quick, agile movement and very powerful hindquarters. They usually stand between 14 and 16 hands high.
An other focus in breeding of Quarter Horses is on the development of a Horse for the European equestrian sport like Working Hunter, Hunter Hack, Dressage as well as Western Pleasure and Western Riding. This Hunter Horses are somewhat taller and smoother muscled than the stock type, more closely resembling the Thoroughbred. This Horses stand between 15 and 17 hands high.
Have alot of fun on this website!
